Jimmie Allen Diagnosed With Bipolar Disorder

If you follow country star Jimmie Allen on Twitter, you’ve probably noticed how motivational he is on the social media platform; there is a reason. In a recent interview, Allen revealed he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in his teens.

“I was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder when I was 13,” Allen explains. “What kept me going was knowing that so many other musicians like Charley Pride and others have bipolar disorder and how they were able to function. A lot of times when I post these motivational quotes, it’s really for myself. It’s more my self-help Twitter, because I read my own tweets.” (via)
