Lee Brice’s Incredibly Stirring Daryle Singletary Tribute

Country legend Daryle Singletary, who was just 46 years old, passed away Feb. 12—and one of the artists who was touched by his passing, Lee Brice, posted a beautiful tribute to the late singer on his social media.

Brice, who has a traditional vocal country style in the vein of Singletary’s, did a lovely version of “Old Violin,” that would make Singletary proud, which happened to be the final song he had performed during his last show Saturday (Feb. 10) at Cowboy’s nightclub in Lafayette, La.The tune was originally written and recorded by Johnny Paycheck in the mid ’80s.

Check out Brice’s heartfelt performance and Singletary’s last performance below and read more on the story here!
