RIP Kroppy

Len Kropioski (Kroppy) was a staple at Winnipeg Jets home games. Born in Winnipeg, the super fan who later moved to Kenora, drove two and a half hours to Winnipeg for every home game, as long as his health allowed. Last year he stopped coming to games, due to health reasons, but when he showed up for March 30ths game against the Ottawa Senators, fans went crazy.

Tributes having been pouring in for the late World War 2 vet who died at 98. “The anthem will never quite be the same without Kroppy. He meant so much to everyone in the city and he meant so much to me. Rest well Sir.” The Jets anthem singer, Stacey Nattrass wrote on Twitter, sharing a picture of them.
